Have been working 23 years for an underground salt mine on Avery Island. I have 2 small children ages 6 & 4. I am also just finishing up building our new house, so with the house, children and work, my last few years have been hectic.

I have two great kids, Stephanie (26) and Jamey (23) and one incredible grandaughter Bailey (4).
I blinked, we're here. Lot's of husband, daddy and poppy duties - remods, fixers, farming, fishing, singing, etc. God has certainly been better to me than I deserve.
Thank you reunion committee.

Missed most of 10 year reunion due to family emergency, missed the 20 year reunion because I graduated from Louisiana College on the same day. Have been a registered nurse for ten years. I currently work in the SICU at LSU in Shreveport and love it. You couldn't make up some of the stuff I've seen. No one would believe you.
I would love to catch up with everyone at the 30. However, if things go right I will be starting graduate school in anesthesia in Fort Worth TX in August.
keep your fingers crossed
Some of us are a little slow and it takes a little longer
I have an 18 year old daughter that is the primary cause of my hair loss. I love her to death.
I'm getting married in april.
It's been a busy year.

Hi all,
I've been raising a family in 'smallville' New Hampshire... away from Hurricanes! I have three children and their lives consume me. All of them musical... voice, guitar, piano, drums. It's never quiet in my house! ok... I like it that way. Better half Shawne is going back to school for her bachelor's degree and I'm fixing suppers and my old cars (not necessarily at the same time... but I wouldn't rule anything out!) We're ready to move south... mising the good food and hospitality... and as our kids all plan to college that direction the pull is getting really strong! Can you say Carolinas? I don't want to move again though... Baton Rouge to Alaska to Oregon and to three condos in New Hampshire before putting down house roots again. Still... Shawne and I are the only ones in New England that can properly pronounce Biegnets! And that's just wrong! I'd like to just take a minute and appologise to all of you that put up with me when I was in school. I didn't know how bad I was til God gave me children. Now I know. He has such a since of humor. I miss the Broadmoor High Choir. 90 some odd voices when I left. Man that was fun! And the tours... That's where I spent my highschool years... in the choir department! Can't wait to see you guys... If I can swing the trip! Ross Update 12/07/18: I took early retirement in May of 2016, sold our New Hampshire home and moved to Arkansas where we live with my Father. Dad is now 93 and still gets around pretty well. His mind is sharp and he is happy that we are here. I've never been so busy as when I retired! I haven't been back to Baton Rouge since 1987. I hope to make the trip soon. I miss you all! Ross Worry just a little about the things you can change. Care about what your friends think, you don't have to agree. Be kind to everyone else. Put God and your family right at the top. The rest of the stuff doesn't matter. What stuff? Rrrrright! |

Doing my best to age gracefully (I'll let you know how that turns out). Life has had it's twists and turns but so far it's worked out pretty well. I'm happy, content, live stress free and I have my health, hair and teeth. I mean could I really ask for much more? Yeah, I could but I'm running out of space here.

HUSBAND Todd Snover-O'huigin
The last 10 years, I have been living in N. E. Pennsylvania, pretty much 10 miles from anything that represents civilization. We are deep in the mountians surrounded by sheep farmers, dairy cows, corn fields, snow and more snow.
My husband is a violin maker and a well known fiddler in the area. The poor guy was born a yankee. It is a burden we both bear. He gets good Southern Speech Therapy daily.
I am a full time musician with 2 studios, one in PA and one in NY. I teach classical violin and various styles of fiddling. I perform at restaurants and clubs, private parties, festivals, orchestras, a Texas swing band and occasional plays and musicals. I also am a choir director.
My 2 daughters are both in college, one in Kansas and one in Texas. One of them will be getting married in BR this July.
Otherwise, I lead a very dull and boring life.
Latest UpDate Fall 2013:
Moved to McKinney, Tx and we have our first granddaughter due in February 2014 and she will be living within 2 miles of us.
So re-establishing business in N. Tx. Lotsa work, but so very happy to be here. Life is Grand!
I can hardly wait for the reunion. I have not lived in BR since 1981. It will be great to catch up on some of what I have been missing.

Enjoying my family! Jimmy and I have three boys - Luke (21), Kyle (18) and Drew (16) and I have enjoyed the opportunity to be a stay and home "mom" for the past 19 years. Two years ago I started working in Jimmys office and keeping up with all that.....couldn't ask for a better boss!! By the way, who would've ever thought I'd marry Jimmy Gallmann (BHS -76)!! Jimmy and I have also been very active in helping raise (along with my parents) my two nephews - Bill (25) and Joe (22) Mosby who came to live with us when they were 9 and 11- they have brought a wonderful "completeness" to my life and have helped me grow in many ways; Didn't 30 years come quick!! See you soon - Jackie
The re-union committee has done an awesome job - the website is great! Will send pics ASAP - Jackie

For a committed gypsy, I've stayed put the last 5 yrs. or so. When I'm not promoting an array of supplements to health food stores, I'm keeping an eye on the touring schedule of bands from the 60's and 70's ( there are still a few around) and traveling to catch the show. I just saw America with David Moore and his wife a couple of months ago. At home, my two tom cats ( Buddy and Louie) and I keep a very peaceful low profile and pull for LSU!
I was "too cool" to make the 10 year reunion...... was living in Colorado and didn't know about the 20 yr...... but am planning on making the 30 yr. Hope to see ya'll there!

Being a dad to a wonderful son who graduated from UT-Austin this past May and will be starting a graduate degree (MSF) at UT-Austin in July. I am one very proud and lucky dad!!! (I also spent many fun hours volunteering with his high school band and soccer team.)
I've been working in the creative department at an advertising agency for the past six years and hopefully for the next six years as well.
Thanks to all on the committee for your hard work organizing another reunion. I'll miss seeing everyone this year! Have a great reunion!
