Contracts Supervisor Single I’ve been in Houston since 1998, and have worked for the same oil company since 2002. I never thought I’d end up in the corporate world, and I seem to have them fooled, because they keep promoting me. I finally bought my first house a few years ago, and now that I’ve gotten around to acting like a grownup, it’s almost time to retire! (Actually, retirement is still 8-10 years away.) I’m looking forward to our 40th reunion – hope to see lots of you there.

Homemaker Married 3 Frank Cusimano III For the last 21 years, I have been the COO(Chief Operating Officier) of the Cusimano Group formed in 1985 with Frank Cusimano. We expanded our group three times with Ryan(16), Kyle(14), and Amy(13). Frank is in charge of the Finance Department while I manage and coordinate all activities and schedules of our group as well as making sure our group is well fed and cared for. Our group relocated to The Woodlands, Texas 2 1/2 years ago and have enjoyed being closer to family and friends. Though my job can be challenging and I am very underpaid, I enjoy it tremendously and feel that the longlasting rewards are well worth it.

I have been back in Baton Rouge since 1989 working in managed care for over 8 1/2 years, as a quality manager, and as a home health RN and as a chart reviewer for HEDIS through various companies from Tampa, Florida to Ann Arbour, Michigan over the last 5 years. I had my first child Kimberly in October of 1986, who is living at home with us working on her art career and taking a break from school. We adopted our second child, a beautiful little baby girl from Englewood Colorado, who was born January 06, 2002. Her name is Piper Kate Daniel. She is petite with plenty of personality and is sports inclined, like I was. She is into dance and karate and starts kindergarten in August. I am active in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority,(a working woman's sorority) as well as a member of the Krewe of Iduna here in Baton Rouge. I have been busy recovering from multiple surgeries...that comes with age as I understand it, over the last 10 years. I have had diabetes since the age of 2, and it hasn't seemed to slow me down yet. I am currently awaiting the latest in scientific technology, the insulin pump with the enhanced feature of checking the blood sugars every 5 minutes, to assist with better control. You know, they tell you to take control of your health, then they ask you, "Why are you so controlling?"I am loving life and quite happy with my husband and daughters and the a n i m a l s !!!!!!! Bookkeeper Married 2 Bert Wow, the last 10 years have been interesting for me. A few years after our 20th reunion, I was involved in an automobile accident that totalled my vehicle and landed me in the hospital with crushed bones in my right foot. There were many operations to put hardware in and take hardware out! All of this has totally changed my daily life. Hence, the "now" picture of big fat me.

Also during that time, my mom got very ill and was on life support for several months. We finally made the grave decision to "unplug" her, when one day when I went to visit, she opened her eyes and decided she wanted to live! Since that time, she's gotten remarried after being a widow for 15 years. Mom's also a two time survivor of lung cancer and then cancer in her chest. So, I must say, she has kept me on my toes! I think she's the reason for my gray hair and not my boys.

And on to the boys... Well, I'm still married to Bert - 23 years. He has provided well for our family and that has allowed me to continue working part-time as a bookkeeper for two companies, an alarm monitoring central station and also a call center.

Jacob (20) is currently attending LSU and majoring in Mechanical Engineering like his dad. Justin (17) is a Junior at Catholic High School and doing very well.

A few years ago, I finally got my daughter. A yellow lab name Gracie. She is truly my companion.

I am really looking forward to this reunion. As we all age, it becomes apparent not to take life for granted. It's been a hard 30 years, but I guess that's the way it is supposed to be. And if it weren't for good friends like Julie (Robertson) Benton, Jeanne (Fields) Tribou and Pooky (Graves) Johnston, I think my journey would have been more difficult.
It has been so wonderful to hear from some very old friends because of this website. I really want you all to send a big thanks to Leslie (Wedge) and Robert Kuyrkendall for all of their hard work in making this all a reality. I've had the opportunity to work with them on this reunion and I must say that the two of them have gone way beyond the call of duty! Kudos to the Kuyrkendalls!!

Married Don Souza Getting hitched, teaching kindergarten, fighting the good fight, playing piano, singing, yoga, hiking, spiritual stuff, travelling a bit. Trying to stay in touch with my family, who is spread out all over the U.S. and Australia. We bought a house in the SF Bay Area, done a little re-modeling. In the past 22 months I've been actively raising money for various relief projects in NOLA and doing relief work in BTR and NOLA each summer. I'm active in politics and saving this lovely planet, as we all should be, especially if we have kids or grandkids-don't you wanna leave them something they can work with? Will there be recycling at the Saturday Night event!? Thanks to all y'all for putting this together.
