Technology - Retired Married Waltraud (Val) Died three days after 20 year reunion in an ER in Virginia. Traveled to the other side and back, and lost all fear of death. Went through hell for two years after I came to, but got better and had some new and "enhanced" skills. Became remote viewer and worked with Hawaii Remote Viewer's Guild (www.hrvg.org) and others on several cases including missing persons, e.g., Chandra Levy, and some foreign targets. Started technology corporation and produced several software products in the arts/entertainment industry to handle ticket sales, box office traffic, and theater management. Just retired. Enjoy playing Celtic fiddle for Irish sessions and Scottish dances and had an on stage stint doing Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. Spent some time in my wife's native Germany (learned German), and made sporadic jaunts to France, Hungary, Czech Republic and out west to visit friends and family, and to simply hang out and absorb the culture. One of my favorite things is taking long walks with my best friend - my wife - and our two Welsh Terriers (Moira and Tristan). On our walks, we regularly stop off at our favorite pub (The Brick Store) - a prime place for community and local color. Most of the time I strive to live a simple life in a state of unattached mindful spirituality (not religious) and perceive that which is beyond the usual perception. Relax and enjoy life. When you die, your inbox will still be full. And remember; the only *normal* people you know are the ones you don't know very well.

musician/music teacher Single I've been a free-lance musician playing lots of diffferent kinds of music and recordings in Paris, where I live, and throughout Europe. Also, I hold a professorship at the Bruckner Conservatory in Austria and am on the regular guest faculty of the main jazz conservatory in France. Paris, France and Europe in general offer a great life and great opportunities, but I always still really, really miss home and all of my old friends. Anyone coming to Europe, especially to France, feel free to look me up. I'm always at boudrums@aol.com. I hope I can get back for the reunion.

Engineer Married 3 Joy Matherne (BHS '79) In November 2000, I was diagnosed with tonsilar cancer. I am obviously extremely happy to be a survivor and lucky to be here to enjoy life and make a difference. My wife Joy and I have been raising our three outstanding sons Marcus 24, Jared 21, and Thomas 15. We have enjoyed watching them compete in their various sports across the country. After the battle, I have volunteered as a coach or team manager to help enrich the experience for all the young men. I am still at PAX Inc., a Steel Fabricator in Gonzales, where I have been for 25 years since graduating from LSU. Life is great and I hope you are too!

Attorney Widowed 2 For the past ten years, I have been raising my two daughters after we lost their mother to cancer in 1997. I finished law school in 1999 and I am an Assistant Attorney General at the Louisiana Department of Justice. I missed the ten and twenty year reunions because I was working on political campaigns, but I do not plan to miss this one even though the reunion will be in the heat of this gubermatorial campaign.
