TV Station Sales Manager Married 1 Yvette A lot of things have stayed the same for me the last 10 years. Just like Anna Babin I'm still a size 2, and Celeste Landry is still my best friend. I try to talk to her every day but since the restraining order, that's just not possible. I'm still married to the same woman, she and I just celebrated our 24th anniversary and I think she would be the first to tell you that I've truly made it the best 2 or 3 years of her life. Something that is new since the last reunion is my daughter who is now 9 years old. I know some of you have grandchildren that old, but remember that I was voted least likely to ever have sex (with another human being). I still work for KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, but I've tried my hand at a few different jobs in the last 10 years. I'm currently the sales manager, before that I was a salesperson, and I did a short stint as the live morning feature reporter. That basically involved doing goofball stuff like eating barbecue for breakfast or getting beat by 16 year old girls at goat wrestling (seriously, ask me about this). While I haven't managed to make a feature film yet, I have made a couple of short projects. I have one short in the works based on a guy trying to get onto a reality dating show called "The Bastard". A group of us put together a short for the local ad club to use at this year's advertising awards program but it was judged to be "too offensive even for drunken advertising executives". So I guess not that much has changed since the 10th grade when Bobby Paul and I almost flunked out of speech class for producing a radio mockumentary with ads that were "totally inappropriate". I haven't really kept in touch very well, which is kind of a shame because I only knew about 12 people in high school anyway. I have however told all the stories about us for the past 30 years. This reunion has been a great excuse for me to get out the yearbook and show it to the people who have heard all the tales. They now have faces to go with the story of the guy who rode his motorcycle through the school, the two guys who stole 500 pounds of fertilizer from K-Mart so they could spell out "SR '77" in 30 foot high letters inbetween A and B buildings (a gift which keeps on giving for a couple of years by the way), the guy who we tricked into going to an "adult" feature at the Paramount and then later became a priest, the person who redecorated a stranger's house using the front of his Mustang, the girls who wouldn't date me because I was "like a brother" to them, the people on the speech trip who managed to avoid prosecution and hold on to our stash of liquor by hiding it in a toilet, and a whole lot more. Looking back at the yearbook makes you realize that we can try to deny illegal substance use, but then we'd have to explain why we thought plaid was a good choice for pants. I was hoping that if I wrote long enough I could get a web page all to myself, or at least beat Anna's word count, but my ADD is kicking in and I have to stop now. I just hope that we can get Connie Hair and Shelley Wascom locked into a janitor's closet together so we can take bets on which one will come out alive (read their bio's and you'll understand). The early money has to go to the one most likely to support the 2nd Amendment (and possibly holding a concealed carry permit), but Shelly just might have spent her jail time learning how to make a shiv out of a plastic fork instead of getting some really cool jailhouse tattoos, so who knows?

I still see Judy Courtney when I'm in town to visit family. High School feels a long way off (but not 30 years!) This is an excellent website. I've enjoyed catching up with folks by reading their bios. I'm not sure if I'll make the reunion but I love having this website as a way of catching up. Thanks for all the hard work of the committee.

Physician/ Internal Medicine/ Aerospace Medicine Divorced 1 Enjoying raising my daughter, now 16! Even more interesting doing it alone now. Wow!! I've been practicing Internal Medicine in the mountains of East Tennessee for 16 years now with East Tennessee Medical Group, the group I co-founded when I left Ft. Knox and Army life. I also play in Aerospace Medicine with the Air Natl. Guard. It's a distraction from all the really sick folks I see in my civilian office. But primarily, now, I'm here to do whatever my daughter wants to do. Indeed, Life IS a Journey! Live and appreciate every day, make friends and love all. (And remember, Energy and Persistance Conquers All Things!)

Judge Criminal Court Orleans Parish Married 3 Thom Wilson 4 I am a still a judge at Criminal District Court in New Orleans for almost 10 years. Happily married for 24 years and I have 3 step daughters and 4 grand kids. My husband Thom Wilson and I live in the French Quarter in New Orleans and then on weekends we go to Folsom, LA where we live the country life so I can refocus from my stressful job. I founded a program in 2010 that helps incarcerated people get their hi school diploma, job certification & soft skills training while in prison. I work with the community and these returning citizens to help them make it in society without returning to prison. I started this because our state has the highest incarceration rate in the world and I realized that putting people in jail daily will not stop the cycle...without a better plan. The program is now in 16 parishes in LA. I have found much happiness and contentment throughout my legal career which was in criminal law. Thom and I have traveled a lot, Cuba last New Years and we are going to Russia in September. We hunt and play outdoors as much as possible. I have 3 dogs that I sleep with nightly! I exercise more now than I have ever before as I realize I CAN''T NOT exercise or I feel bad. I love to garden its such zen for me..must have gotten that from my Dad the farmer! Look forward to seeing all the people that I have such sweet memories from my youth. If there were any bad memories from then I have forgotten them or replaced then with so many other good ones. Appreciate all the efforts of the crew that have put this together yet again. Cheers to an amazing feat! Thank you, thank you. See you soon!
